A recent investment to expand and revamp facilities at our Shanghai Business and Technology Centre reinforces commitment to Infineum business growth in China.
A red ribbon-cutting ceremony held last month marked the official opening of the transformed space which incorporates employee wellbeing and sustainability considerations into the modern and sleek design.
The new facilities build on our recent Beijing office move, and the launch ceremony provided an excellent opportunity to look back on the development of Infineum in China, as well as look forward to a bright future.
“Infineum continues to deliver strong and above market growth in the Chinese market,” said Mike Chen, China president (pictured below).
“Now we have a very customer-friendly facility which also provides over 70 employees with a state-of-the-art working space enabling collaboration and innovation.”
Energy efficient LED lightbulbs were fitted throughout, as well as sound absorbing materials which control the spread of noise in the open office plan.
The addition of a nursing room provides new mothers with a private place to express breast milk. Quieter areas for employees include a telephone booth to make calls without disturbing others and a reading corner.
Performance Testing Leader Ruifeng Zhang was impressed: “It’s now a very open and collaborative working environment. I can feel the commitment and dedication of Infineum to further development in the local market, and I’m very much looking forward to growing together.”
