In his role as EVP Energy Applications, Bruce leads the company’s strategic intent to grow existing and new business including carbon resilient segments, in business segments new to the company, maximising the value of Infineum’s unique technology and technology applications. This will be achieved through leveraging Infineum’s current core capabilities, the development of new internal skill sets and through new external partnerships which in turn will allow the new Energy Applications strategic business unit to deliver the corporate diversification strategy and financial targets.
Bruce is a knowledgeable leader with over three decades of experience in the chemical additive industry. He joined the Corporate Leadership Team after ten years as a leader in executive-level roles with global reach and significant operational, strategic, and financial accountabilities.
His career at Infineum started in 1999 as EMEA Regional Market Manager and has included many leadership positions such as Business Manager for our Lubricants segment and more recently Commercial Director, where he led Infineum’s transition from product-centric to customer-centric sales and marketing organisation.
Prior to joining Infineum, Bruce worked for six years at Shell Additives International Ltd and Shell Research Ltd in various Technology and Technical Service positions.
He has a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Edinburgh and a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from Dalhousie University, Canada and has two daughters.
