At Infineum, we believe in positively impacting the communities where we operate – a commitment at the heart of our sustainability approach. Over 30 Infineum colleagues recently gathered to lead a group of 15 children and young adults from the Down Syndrome Association (DSA) Singapore to the Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience exhibition.
This meaningful outing marked another milestone in our ongoing partnership with DSA Singapore, which began in 2021. Susan Lim, the organiser of the event, expressed her gratitude, saying, “We are thankful for the opportunity to support DSA in any way we can and to get to know more about our many friends. This is the first time we have had an outing together, and I really enjoyed experiencing the interesting and immersive Van Gogh exhibition with everyone! It was personally heart-warming to see the interactions between my colleagues and the DSA group. I am truly grateful for this opportunity to hopefully create lovely memories for our friends.”
The Immersive Van Gogh Experience provided a unique opportunity for the group to appreciate over 300 pieces of Van Gogh’s artwork, including the iconic The Starry Night. The day ended with laughter over lunch and a joyful singing session.
The Infineum team used their volunteering day to make this outing possible. The volunteering day is a benefit offered to every Infineum employee, allowing them to dedicate an extra day of annual leave to support their community. This initiative is a crucial part of our sustainability approach and aligns with our commitment to delivering on the UN sustainability goal 3, which focuses on supporting people and communities.
